Lorell Williams is the founder and CEO of Teaching Fundamental Math and Reading that focuses on building the academic confidence of students by catering to their interest, learning style and based from data. As a certified teacher for 10 years she has assisted students by tutoring and teaching fundamental concepts. Lorell Williams is a Houston Native and earned a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Prairie View A&M University and is certified in Generalist 4-8. After graduation, she began her career in the Houston Independent School District as a Math Fellow and was in charge of assisting student’s with meeting State Exam requirements. Subsequently, she began teaching 7th grade math in 2011. Her philosophy for education is that any student can learn the basics if presented with repetitive opportunities to exercise their mathematics skills.
Lorell has trained many Educators and has helped the community of Education by rendering different effective teaching strategies that permit students to grasp many concepts easily.
She then joined Aldine School District and taught 5th grade math and has remained a 5th grade mathematics Teacher for the past 7 years. She has been an active member at The Church Without Walls where she served in the dance ministry.
