Jessie Yu is a sophomore studying finance and supply chain management at the UT Austin and is pursuing an Applied Statistical Modeling and Business of Healthcare certificate as well. In high school, she placed in the top 2% of her class and achieved 1500+ on the SAT and a 34 on the ACT. Her high score on the PSAT also made her a National Merit Finalist. She was heavily involved in several organizations and dedicated much time as an officer and to continuing her legacy: Speech and Debate (Speech Captain as well as a state finalist and national octofinalist), Business Professionals of America (Vice President and national qualifier), and She's the First (President). Coming from a high-achieving family, Jessie holds education in high regard. Through her presidency of She's the First, she was able to fund 3 girls through a K-12 education in Guatemala, Belize, and Nepal and continues to advocate for education and diversity. Through INC, she hopes to make an impact on her community and help others love learning as much as she does. Jessie is highly qualified and is excited to tutor students in Math, Science, and English as well as prepare them for the PSAT, SAT, and ACT tests. Jessie is based in Dallas, TX and Austin, TX.
