My tutoring philosophy is to foster a deeper Mathematical understanding using a discovery approach model which contributes to students' confidence in strengthening their ability to utilize critical thinking skills. I am based in TX. William has worked extensively with private and public school districts in improving math instruction on a local and national level. His experience includes collaborating with local and national urban school district administrators, and delivering professional development training for teachers. He also conducted national presentations on improving the quality of instruction designed to maximize educational opportunities. William is also the former Senior Project Facilitator for Project SEED Inc. Project SEED Inc. is a nonprofit national mathematics organization that provides supplementary mathematics instruction for elementary and middle school age students using an interactive group-discovery (Socratic) method. He was also a presenter for several national conferences such as NABSE, NCTM, and Learning Forward (formally known as National Staff Development Council). William also taught demonstration lessons. Apart from these, he conducts professional development seminars for elementary and middle school teachers to engage and guide students in discovering concepts from algebra, precalculus, and other areas of higher mathematics.
