Tramiesha Ligon and James Ligon have over 15 years of experience in the public school system. Tramiesha Ligon holds a M.S. degree in Family Studies with a focus in Family Life Education from Texas Woman’s University, a B.S. degree in Education from the University of Houston-Victoria. Mrs. Ligon is a Certified Educator (EC – 6th ) and has over 10 years of experience teaching children in a classroom setting, tutoring for elementary school students with the YMCA of Greater Houston, Owner/Director of a licensed childcare facility and After-School Assistant Director.
Mrs. Ligon is also a trained and experienced in Orton-Gillingham and SIPPS (Systemic Instruction in Phonological Awareness, Phonics, and Sight Words) Reading Specialist. Under her leadership, Tier One Learning Solutions has grown to partner with various schools and families to provide outstanding intervention tutorial services in Reading, Math and Writing in the state of Texas.
James Ligon works to secure partnerships and contracts for Tier One Learning Solutions. James E. Ligon, II M.Ed. is a highly qualified and accomplished Special Education Teacher with over 15 years of experience and a strong commitment for student growth, development, and academic success. He has expertise in implementing differentiated instruction and extensive work teaching at-risk students with Socio-emotional behaviors and Intellectual Developmental disabilities. He has served as an Autism Specialist, an Inclusion Teacher, and a Behavior Specialist for several districts in Texas. Mr. Ligon holds a Master of Arts degree in Special Education from Prairie View A & M University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Wiley College. James Ligon also completed the Principal Certification Program with Lamar University and Future Administrator Academy in Alvin ISD in 2018.
